The Statement Thinker

Terms and Conditions

Effective September 24, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern access to TheStatementThinker.com and its statement-analysis, proposal, account, and subscription services (the “Service”), operated by Unique Payment Technologies LLC (“Statement Thinker,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Business use and account eligibility

The Service is intended for payment professionals and businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for accurate registration information, safeguarding your credentials, and all activity under your account. Account sharing is not permitted.

2. Service and AI-assisted results

The Service assists with extracting and organizing merchant-statement information, calculating estimates, and preparing proposals. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate because of statement format, image quality, missing information, or automated analysis limitations. You must compare all extracted amounts, fees, calculations, and proposal information with the original statement before relying on or presenting them. The Service does not provide legal, tax, accounting, card-brand compliance, or financial advice.

3. Uploaded materials

You retain ownership of materials you upload. You represent that you have the right and authorization to upload and process them. You grant us a limited license to host, copy, analyze, and display those materials only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the Service. Do not upload Social Security numbers, bank-account credentials, or information unrelated to merchant-statement analysis.

4. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the Service, access another user’s account, upload unlawful or malicious material, interfere with security, reverse engineer protected portions of the Service, resell access without written permission, or use results to mislead merchants. We may suspend access reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or comply with law.

5. Plans, recurring billing, and authorization

Paid plans renew monthly at the price displayed during checkout until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges to the payment method securely submitted through NMI. We do not store full card numbers or card security codes. Plan limits reset according to the applicable monthly billing cycle. Enterprise pricing and limits may be governed by a separate written order.

6. Cancellation

You must provide at least 30 days’ written notice to cancel a subscription. Send the request from the account email to cancelation@thestatementthinker.com and include the account holder’s name and company. Cancellation takes effect after the notice period, subject to applicable law. Charges scheduled during the notice period may still be processed. We will send or otherwise make available confirmation when the cancellation is completed.

7. Refunds

All completed subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Additional details appear in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Privacy and service providers

Our collection and use of information are described in our Privacy Policy. The Service uses third-party providers for infrastructure, payment processing, automated analysis, and email delivery. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

9. Ownership

The Service, website design, software, branding, and related content—excluding user-uploaded materials—are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No ownership rights are transferred to you.

10. Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every statement will be read correctly.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Service. Our aggregate liability relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law.

12. Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by Florida law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. We may update these Terms and will post the revised effective date. Material changes will apply prospectively, and continued use after they become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
